    i was recommended to you. i need help getting my gif to move :/ i have saved it in a gif file and it is moving when i hit the play button on photoshop cs3 but when i come to the file in my documents it wont move:( am i forgetting to do something?

    Ah, I see what your problem is.

    what you did is save your image as a non animated gif... (File>save as> GIF.)

    to get it to move, click and do the following:

    File>Save for web & devices>choose your present or customize> preview your animation with the player menu> save.

    and there, you got your animated gif.

    Tip: make sure your current project animation timing is the same as in the preview.

    (usually for a weird reason the preview displays your final version faster, make sure you adjust your frame rate on your animation to match your desired effect.)
